WGA Membership & League Information

2018 Membership Dues .......... $15

Dues must be paid to be eligible for prizes in league, or participate in WGA Saturday and Sunday events or WGA sponsored tournaments.

Ladies Day is from 7:00 - 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays from May through September. The course is open to all Arrowhead ladies. Tee times may be made from 7:00 until 10:30 a.m. All WGA members are eligible for the league game as long as they sign in at the Pro Shop and tee off between 7:00 and 10:30 a.m. Scorecards need to be turned in to the Pro Shop following play and scores will be figured by the Pro Shop staff. Scorecards need first and last names written on the card as well as the player's handicap and date played. Game winners will be posted in Pro Shop, website, and inside Club House entrance. Prizes will be awarded on Closing Day for all events. Please join us for WGA weekly meetings before play at 8:30 a.m.  We will be offering free coffee and tea on Wednesday mornings.

We need all CDGA handicapped ACC ladies to play the black/red tees so that a hole-by-hole handicap can be established for play in 2019. If you play the black/red tees, please turn your score card in (with your full name, date, and handicap on the score card) to the box designated in the lower bar. Thank you!

Chicago Point System

Scorecards are marked with each player's individual, hole-by-hole handicap. When the player finishes each hole, she subtracts the handicap for that hole from her score and records awarded points based on the following:

     Eagle          4 points

     Birdie          3 points

     Par              2 points

   Bogey         1 point

At the end of her round, each player totals her awarded points. The player with the highest number of points in each flight is the event winner.

ACC WGA Travel League

ACC WGA Travel League

The Women’s Travel League is comprised of six clubs: Arrowhead, El Paso, Sunset Hills, Lick Creek, Pekin Country Club, and Quail Meadows. Each team has six players and we play six times over the summer, a different club each time. Each match is a partner event, best ball match play with handicap with one point for a hole won and 1/2 point for a tie.
Each person pays greens fees but all club pros are accommodating and usually charge around $35 to play. The clubs always have a lunch special.
We are always looking for new players. Anyone can play whether you shoot low or high scores as it’s a handicapped format. There is a signup sheet in the upstairs ladies restroom where you can sign up for any or all of the different dates.
